It’s Asher again, this time in Cape Town! Cape Town is a metropolitan city and one of the THREE capitols of South Africa. Yes, South Africa has 3 capitols. Isn’t that so cool? The other two capitols are Pretoria and Bloemfontein. They are both located in central South Africa while Cape Town is located on the tip of South Africa. Anyways, it’s my first time being there and is is so awesome. There are many great restaurants like Earth, Fire, Pizza. They serve very tasty pizza and the place has a very good atmosphere. There are amazing sites like Table Mountain, which is a mountain that kind of looks like a table. We visited it yesterday on a city-sight-seeing bus that showed us a tour of Cape Town. On the tour, we also saw a group of native-African kids that performed a very awesome song with tribal music. It was very majestic and showed some of the true beauty of Africa. We visited Camp’s Bay Beach as well yesterday and we met very nice people. They offered us very cool stuff that was very interesting and tribal. As you may have already heard, Cape Town is going through a major water crisis, which is very bad but it has taught me to conserve and reuse water as often as possible. I have been taking much shorter showers and I only flush the toilet when necessary. They say that day zero, or the day when they run out of water, is coming very soon and was even predicted months ago. It’s scary, but we are doing our best to conserve water. Although, aside from having limited water, Cape Town rocks and it has been an awesome 1st week here.👌
Looks amazing. Thanks for sharing your experience.
