We did almost nothing on our final day of the trip, but it was still very exciting and meaningful. Once we woke up in Israel at 3:00 am, we got dressed and after collecting our bags, we said bye to Savta and she was very sad to see us leave. I hope she will be fine while we’re gone and we had an awesome time with her. Oved drove us to the airport and once we said bye to him, we flew five hours to Paris. I slept on that flight to cover the literal three hour sleep I had last night. Once we landed in Paris, the airport was literally a maze with moving floors and it took us forever to reach the gate. On the nine hour flight to Denver, I watched The Lego Movie 2, which was a mediocre film, and I also read and played games. We overall didn’t do much, but the touchdown in the airport was the last time we were in the air this entire trip. Since there was a big plane that landed before us, we waited in immigration for about one hour before we got to move on and then we got in an Uber and drove to our neighbor, Ling’s, house because she wanted to give us a gift. She gave us delicious dumplings and then we drove home and we saw our two pets for the first time in 14 months. Bruno got bigger while Trixie seemed to shrink, which was weird, but we had tons of fun and this was the best trip ever.
